Report on the project and field inspection

Recently, Quang Trung Investment company held a meeting to report on the Barite project with the participation of the specialized agencies of the Lao Government and employees of the Company. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Sc Bui Hoc, discussing environmental impact assessment research in Vientiane Capital, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The report received positive reviews from the specialized agencies of the Lao Government.

The Company made a detailed report on economic and technical feasibility study at the Department of Mines, the Ministry of Energy and Mines, Laos.

To create the report successfully, with many positive contributions, a delegation of researchers directly worked with Khammouan Hydro-meteorological Station and reported environmental impact assessment. Having a good understanding of hydro-meteorology is essential for the implementation of a green and clean project as well as for future production and business activities. Therefore, Quang Trung Investment Co., Ltd sincerely thanks the Lao Government for friendly and responsible cooperation in research support.  

The Company worked with officials of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Laos and local officials and people in Noong Ma Hamlet, Bualapha Village, Khammouan Province in order to provide information and reached an agreement on the implementation of the project. The working session took place favorably and indirectly showed a close relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

A delegation of inspectors including the competent authorities of the Government, the locality and the Company conducted a general survey on the project area. The inspection and development support were considered to be favorable when all parties acknowledged the project feasibility in terms of economy, environment and society.

The Company is well aware of its responsibility for contributing to the sustainable local socio-economic development in the long run.
