API BARITE POWDER
Our barite powder is finely ground and processed directly from barite ore which is exploited at Boualapha mine in Laos. Based on customer's requirements, we are able to produce a wide variety of barite powder which is used in many areas including oil and gas industry, coatings, plastic, rubber, glass and friction materials. Barite powder is mainly used as a weighting agent for drilling fluids and also for counterbalance (counterweight) in washing machines, elevators and other products.
Especially, we produce API-grade barite powder that meets and exceeds all of the standards set forth in the current API specifications 13A, confirmed by SGS (See the attachment below). Our powder has high fineness and has a content of 93% BaSO4 or more, showing its purity with few residues.
By conducting the barite processing project supported by the Lao government, we, Quang Trung company, are proud to manufacture stable and consistently high-quality products by directly processing the powder at our own factory which is close to our mine in Laos. By having large mineral reserves from the mine, we guarantee to maintain high productivity with barite powder having a specific gravity of 4.2-4.4g/cm3.

FOR HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY:
API grade barite powder which is produced at Boualapha mine has low contents of heavy metals. It is not harmful to human health and the environment. However, during product transportation and product usage processes, you should remember to wear a gauze mask and use gloves to prevent stone dust from entering the body.
